Owensboro's Tim Banks, nationally known bike builder, owner of Cycle Works Choppers and national award winner, has created a Breast Cancer Awareness bike to raise awareness for this cause.
Tim was a super cross racer and road racer with a deep automotive history and is a wealth of knowledge; he builds these bikes ground up. His business in Owensboro Kentucky and Cycle Works Choppers has no signs, no secretary or storefront.
Tim is the son of a cancer survivor and wanted to build this bike to support the fighters, admire the survivors, and to honor the taken.
His unique custom motorcycle will be unveiled to the public for the first time on Thursday, January 31 at 2 p.m. at RiverPark Center. The program will last approximately 30 minutes with a short Q&A session following the program.
The unveiling begins a national tour starting in Nashville on February 2 at the Easyriders 2013 Bike Show, and continue to cities such as Columbus, OH, Daytona, FL, Sturgis, SD, Charlotte, NC, Indianapolis, IN, as well as more than 30 events within a 500-mile radius of Owensboro KY.
